You're allowed to say when something makes you uncomfortable, even if it's something so trivial, as long as it's talking to or referring to you. Sure, you won't agree with everyone and it's nice to be respectful, but don't be afraid to tell what you don't like (of course without being too harsh)

I hate to be harsh, but I would like if next time, you omit "peak" when talking to or referring to me. I know you want to be supportive (which I can't say no to), but let's say I've grown a hatred towards that word, and it pretty much leads me to lose motivation.
