One of our vendors recently renamed a product we use, and the renaming was to remove the word that I had been using as a nickname for the product. And used for all of the directories and package names of the code I wrote to integrate it.

I'm not renaming the packages.

I needed to stop a library I'm using from treating `.` specially, so I set its delimiter string to something else. I wound up using · U+00B7 which would be hard for users to accidentally type. I almost used 🤡, though, and I kinda regret not doing that.

Answer:

sysctl -w net.ipv4.ip_forward=1

(and add that value to `sysctl.conf`)

I suspect that my `sysctl.conf` got overwritten by an update or something.
