I am generally pretty humbug, but the Jinkx and Dela Holiday show is about my level of Christmas spirit.

Day off, went to the friendly neighborhood queer barbershop for a trim and walked the 3ish miles home, stopping along the way for little treats. Trying to enjoy autumn while it's so gorgeous out.

If you see this, quote this post with your 4 favorite final fantasy characters

I hate making mugs because I think handles are a pain in the ass, but they make better presents than most other stuff I can make, so I'm trying to get better.

I wanted to test embossing writing in greenware and shading it in with underglaze, so I did a test with New York's iconic Gemma Collins rant from celebrity big brother. I got it back from bisque today, and found an anonymous note of appreciation from someone else in the pottery studio. ♥️

My natural instinct to pick the queer characters in media stays undefeated. Over the past two weeks I have been buying singles for my first commander deck in years because this card looked fun.
They announced lore stuff today and I am happy to report that I subconsciously chose correctly. 🏳️‍⚧️😍🏳️‍⚧️

It's very satisfying to make coffee in a mug i make for myself that I don't hate.

This is the clear winner of the two I tried - I like how the handle worked out. I still do not understand how to size for porcelain shrinking, but it fits 8 oz of coffee and has room for foam so I'm calling it good.

I know it is very niche, but every time she and her white lock are in the news, I wish that the story is actually that someone is announcing a TV adaptation of the very terrible Anne McCaffrey Federated Teleport and Telepath books from the 90s and Tulsi is playing Damia Gwyn-Raven-Lyon.

@smith.senate.gov Hello Senator, I sent this to your site but since I'm asking you to speak publicly, I wanted to post it publicly as well.

Have definitely had the best results in this pottery class so far with this persimmon glaze (which I don't mix but I think is colored with rutile and iron?). So much fun to play with the thinner coats being the rust color and the thicker parts being the indigo.

Slowly trying to get more comfortable with porcelain. Trying out different handles. Feel completely unable to wrap my head around shrinkage rates yet and just kinda made them bigger than I thought I should.

Press F to pay respects to my favorite vase from the last kiln fire, which got a little too up close and personal with someone's mug and became conjoined permanently.
