My wife managed over $25b in farm subsidy payments at USDA before getting DOGE’d. She was in charge of tariff abatement payments largely stemming from Trump’s previous trade war with China.Her entire team took the early retirement/buyout. Then they started an even bigger trade war….

This whole thread started with Tom suggesting that ICE agents at polling locations wouldn’t have an impact on the election. All I’m simply trying to say is: yes it would. It absolutely would. Suggesting it wouldn’t is crazy talk. Would it flip the election entirely? Who knows.

There aren’t targeted congressionals in Philly proper - they’re all in the burbs. And yeah obviously it’s very different from a decade ago, but voter behavior is human. That’s what I’m commenting on. I’m not trying to insult your precinct or anything, I’m saying that voter suppression is real.

Yeah, the collar counties are important. And with all due respect to the MontCo machine, it’d be harder to drive precinct turnout day of in places where the vote is more spread out.
