Not surprising at all. Big enterprises usually have tonnes of third party vendors that provide SaaS. Those same vendors promise AI "features" are locked to their platform, cost extra money, and won't play nice with the other vendors. It's just a tangled web of corporate technical debt.

I've been trying to brew around The Last Ride and Deaths Shadow in Vintage. Sadly I think it's just not strong enough for the format. But maybe I can make something work in Legacy or Modern.

I think Moxfield gets it's card categorization from Scryfall so it's out of their control. You can see all cards marked as tutors using oracletag:tutor on Scryfall. However the oracletag is community managed so you will see some weird weak tutors like Kaito in there.
