I also think there's just value, generally, in getting more granular about what's going on even if, in a sense, "protest" is also happening. We need a more robust vocabulary for all the parts of what's happening.

Also a pet peeve of mine: it's "presumed innocent until proven guilty" not "IS innocent until proven guilty"

But sometimes "let the bastards fight each other" is a useful strategy.
