Honestly, even in the edited version that was clear to me. But it’s disingenuous on his part, and actually an almost onomatopoeic statement, in that it illustrates what he’s pretending to decry.

Can you clarify what you mean by “misrepresented”? It’s clearly edited for time, but the added context doesn’t change the appropriateness of his comments.

It’s all private: no data—not images, not location, nothing—leaves your device. The only connection it makes to the Internet is, if it wants to show you a pic that’s not cached on your phone, the OS will request it from iCloud storage.
