Time is running out, and Europe must deal with internal divisions and Trump's Trojan horses. The risk in this accelerating systemic crisis is enormous. (9/9)

Trump is opening up to Moscow to pull it away from Beijing, but China will strengthen its influence over nations abandoned by the US. Europe faces an existential challenge: remain free or be swallowed by the ongoing systemic crisis. (8/9)

For Europe, the risk is high: #EU countermeasures could harm its own member states. Without a united vision, strategic autonomy becomes impossible, and Europe risks being crushed between the imperialisms of the US, Russia, and China. (7/9)

Global actors must position themselves strategically in the short and medium term. Just look at #China, #Japan, and #SouthKorea discussing ways to create safeguards against US unpredictability! (6/9)

Global balances are shifting rapidly. Western alliances withstood #Russia's invasion of #Ukraine, but for Trump, realignment must go beyond history and be based on transactional relationships between individuals and narratives similar to his own. (5/9)

The tariffs aim to bring back outsourced supply chains to the US, rebalancing federal finances. Trump sees the trade deficit as a weakness caused by the "predatory" approach of the rest of the world. A heavy blow to globalization. (4/9)

Trump is a businessman. Sometimes a salesman, sometimes a speculator or a gangster, but always a merchant. For him, foreign policy is a negotiating table where everything is up for trade, and everyone has a price. Those seeking favor in Washington should beware. (3/9)

After the initial confusion, it's clear that the tariffs were set based on the US trade deficit with each country, though with a questionable calculation. Trump follows a long-term plan with short-term transactional measures. (2/9)
