I'd also make the ball pop when the game ends for the same reasons :p

I'd add an animation for when the ball accelerates to make it more obvious that there is rolling movement involved, also to just kinda get more visual feedback
it could be as simple as making some smudges move a little over the outline and become a line as ot accelerates to full speed yadee yada

I think the problem here is that showing someone, anyone in a movie is bound to make some people like them. No matter how much effort you put into making them evil or unlikable or whatever. Why are there so many people saying the empire was right in SW?
