Philippine Dwarf Kingfisher

A small mostly orange kingfisher with a red beak and legs, and a white belly. It has a light lilac hue which is more intense in the southern subspecies and has dark blue spotted wings for the northern subspecies.

1972 Maserati Boomerang

Giorgetto Giugiaro's wedge-shaped prototype debuted as a static model at the 1971 Turin Motor Show, then returned as a fully functional car at the 1972 Geneva Motor Show.

Its angular styling would influence automotive design for decades to come.

The statue of a ‘high priest’ in a vessel, dating back to 3 BC. Discovered during the excavations at the Ancient Mesopotamian City of Uruk (modern day Iraq) in 1929/30.

Dreiblättriges Zeeigende liegt auf der Erde, im Gras. Die Blätter sind grün, mit rot gefärbten Rändern, und roten Einsprengseln. Das Blatt leuchtet in der Sonne, und umliegende Pflanzen werfen ihre Schatten darauf.

Eine Pfütze, auf der herbstlich gefärbte Blätter schwimmen.

Vom linken Bildrand her ragt ein belaubter Zweig ins Bild. Die Blätter sind größtenteils grün, teils mit beginnender Rotfärbung. An der Spitze ein komplett rotgefärbtes Blatt, teils von dem davorhängenden verdeckt.

Ein Stieglitz sitzt an einem Zweig einer Linde, zwischen gelb gefärbten Blättern.

Deer duo at dawn.

Two white tail deer, about an 8 point buck on the left and a younger 1 or 2 point on the right. Haven't seen as many deer around lately. Neighbors report finding several dead in creeks from blue tongue disease (EHD). Morning sun rising behind trees and pic taken through dirty window give a misty glow to the scene.
