Oh! To me unmasking is much more. It’s a process of self-actualization for previously unidentified neurodivergents. Shedding sometimes decades of maladaptive behaviors that sacrifice personal well being for a feeling of societal safety. Not sure I’ll ever “finish” unmasking but - so far so good.
