A comic page, a cat kneads into a fuzzy blanket and drools in meditation. "we have a faux fur blanket that she'll bliss out on while making biscuits. I like to think it's because the texture reminds her of her mama." She looks at a cat bed with disdain. "Speaking of bedding, Hazel refuses any beds we've purchased for her. The only 'bed' she likes are the towels we lay down for her." She lays on her back, paws up, on a towel folded on the ground. She purrs loudly and little hearts float above her head. I hold up a small package labeled Duktig and explain to my wife, "So, I didn't get the stuff I said I would, but to be fair... This is important." At first I was worried [Hazel] wouldn't use it, but after we added the secret ingredient: towel... she loves it. Hazel sniffs at the bed inspecting it as I hyper focus on her reaction. Now she sists on it when the heater is on or when the sun shines in the morning. She takes a little nap on the blanket covered miniature bed. A comic page in blue and pink. At night she'll throw a little fit when we stay up too late or if we're in separate rooms. She likes to cuddle with both of us. I'm sitting at my computer desk while Hazel screams at me. She'll headbutt until we lift the blankets, then she'll settle into a spot between us. My wife and I are sleeping in bed. Hazel headbutts me hard enough to hear a DONK on impact. I gasp in surprise "AH!" Often she'll sleep in the crook of Ellie's arm. Ellie gets my attention and says "Hey... take a look at this." She lifts the blanket and Hazel stares at me from the dark.

I was going to do so much today. But the wind has been cut out of my sails. I went to take my car in to get the brake pads replaced and someone busted open my back passenger window. It’s been a little over 1 year since my car was almost stolen from the same exact spot.
