I think I will do nothing for a long time but listen / And accrue what I hear into myself, and let sounds contribute toward me.
Years down the road, many of them will swear they never liked the guy, never voted for him

This kills the c̶r̶a̶b̶ democracy

I think they’re definitely fucked for 2026 and, God willing, 2028. But I fear you overestimate the length of *anyone* in this country’s memory/attention span in terms of long-term effects.

Steelers have also had one of the best pass-blocking o-lines in the league this year. I agree with both of you: it’s gonna be a rock fight, and they probably need a couple turnovers to win it, but it’s not implausible. The weather looks to be at least a small advantage for them, too.

Totally agree with the larger point, but let’s be real: they can do anything they want to anyone they want with impunity. Their “leadership” and their government will never punish them for it, and if anyone tries to fight back in kind, they will kill that person without hesitation or remorse.

Haha. That’s probably true, but you said favorite, not best, and I enjoy listening to Jack 1,000x more! Obv this is just my opinion and I respect Eddie’s undeniable talent, he just doesn’t do anything for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Add Jack White, remove EVH. Eddie is a technically excellent guitarist who I can say with 100% honesty I have never once enjoyed listening to in my life. Zero soul. He sucks everything beautiful out of music and makes it a boring spectator sport.

I mean if they want him off the NHL roster and can’t trade him, they could just waive him, right?

This is the song that introduced me to them, many years ago by way of a cover by B**** N**. It gets my vote for “best,” but I can see the argument for Carry the Zero.

Only getting 11 power plays over 6 games is more noteworthy to me than the success rate.
November 29, 2025 at 11:53 PM
That’s never been my experience, but I’ve only ever celebrated it around dem-leaning (not insane) families, so maybe that’s why.

Honestly I just drink every shot I pull. If the extraction’s off I just make it an Americano. I end up with really good espresso like 75% of the time and fine espresso (as good as many coffee shops serve) the other 25%.

Bump everything down one spot and put PID at the top (which will include number 5 as a bonus)

Hot dogs. It’s a perfectly good & normal condiment for them, and anyone who suggests otherwise is just being weird.

My very Trump-supporting uncle once told me Bernie was the only Dem he’d ever vote for.

To be clear: this definition of “ratio” has always been a stupid bastardization. But it’s Gen Z, so…
October 17, 2025 at 10:51 PM
Yes, it’s dumb to call it a ratio when the replier has vastly more followers than the OP, but they still do it anyway.
October 17, 2025 at 10:49 PM
In fairness I’m pretty sure the Gen Z version (which clearly is what the DHS account is going for) is just used for “any time a reply to/quote of a tweet, in an attempt to dunk on the original, gets more likes than the original tweet.”
October 17, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Wait, where did the word “all” come from? You just completely made that up to make the previous person’s comment sound like it was making a ridiculous claim that it clearly wasn’t making, right? You can acknowledge that? That you just invented a different reality in which they said the word “all”?
October 15, 2025 at 2:23 PM
Isn’t that basically what Pete Davidson said?
October 10, 2025 at 2:53 PM
I mostly didn’t need it for this one, but I can’t tell you how nice it is when these things have the albums/artists labeled.
October 10, 2025 at 2:51 PM
Given the stakes, I’d prefer that any and all commanders who oppose this shit and have the backbone to stand up against it keep their jobs in the military. They’re more valuable as the final bulwarks against fascistic state violence than they are as pundits.
