My experience with the North East Regional. Unless the train is PACKED they are pretty chill with the size of the bags. I've traveled with a large suitcase, my backpack and a DJ coffin before without issues. ( Norfolk Va up to DC. Though I've also done Norfolk to NYC minus the DJ coffin )
