the desire to speed up decentralization is understandable but unsure how effective poisoning the well is when atproto is not in a state where the average person can easily migrate off of bsky and the alternative micro blogging app(views) are countable on a single hand, at best

wdym auth.js has osu! oauth but not bsky oauth

one ui thing that always bugged me on twitter & bsky is that when you're viewing a profile, every repost has "reposted by [user]" written over it

makes sense on the timeline but on a profile it just repeats the same words over and over again

so for my client I'll indicate reposts w/ a little icon

I’m fiddling with atproto so I can make my own client that is more art focused but still has the social microblogging aspect baked in

onboarding using the interests works much better now compared to back when I made my main
cringe that selecting art as interest shows so much ai art tho
