I did associate the dropped h with Cockney — 'Enry 'Iggins — and we have had an epidemic of the glottal stop for t in the States now. I'm not fond of it.

I'm going to be a stickler and suggest aluminium shouldn't be on this list because that's the way they spell it: so not an odd pronunciation. And when you think of it, "ium" seems a more legit spelling for an element.
