I enjoyed reading your essay. As a native Mexican living in the U.S., I have experienced xenophobia. And it saddens to see it displayed in Mexico as well. Extreme nationalism is definitely a rising danger in many countries.

He wasn't particularly religious. He used the power of the Churches to his benefit, yes. But he didn't particularly like Christianity. His religion was his nationalism/racial ideology, and he was into occultism as well.
