My son-in-law (a goddamn MAGA freak), a mechanic (a good one) got hired for another mechanic job that pays him more than I made in management with a college education. Great benefits too. Though he got that job in early 2023, the dumbass cites and thanks Trump for creating his wonderful job.

That's exactly right. Inflation was a direct hazard post covid economy. Re-starting the supply chain, infrastructure act, covid relief, etc. in the face of a stagnant econ caused inflation. HOWEVER, millions of jobs were created and inflation began dropping-almost to normal levels.
