The later in the day your stints are the better. At least after the 4th hour. Before the 4th hour, there's more races starting and some people that crash will quit to join the next race.
With the people left, I'm told you'll get famliar with them because you'll be on track with them all day.

Same! This is my first time participating. Going to be a LONG day. We have 4 drivers, so it'll be ~6 hours of driving, ~6hours of spotting, ~6 hours of being the backup on hand,and ~6 hours of rest. Doable... stressful!

They were filming The Alamo movie near Austin in the early 2000s. Ran into Dennis Quaid in full mutton shops at a club on 4th.

I mean.. odd that I would agree with him, it yeah. We intentionally inject a profit motive into a necessary service that all people need in a way that makes it unattainable for a lot of people. It sucks.
