Is very daunting. especially if you yourself can’t escape the feeling of denial. Personally one of the most harmful things my mother did to me is to tell me I could never be a woman to my face.

There’s some conditioning that goes into a lot of us, especially without proper support. Living life in a way people recognize you as one thing most of the time breeds a particular kind of embarrassment or fear to express yourself as other than that. To claim something most automatically deny you-
