Love the excerpt. Might go read that book. I’ve been wondering how as a species we humans have strayed so far from fighting for the common good. There are always reasons for the bad things that happen, same as the good. We live in a world where we can choose to focus on anything.

You have very interesting ideas, but it’s the very existence of humanity (and all of life) that makes us so special. Our ability to comprehend such ideas is humbling, always showing us we are smaller than we think. At the same time there is nothing like us anywhere we have seen. We are special.

Edge of Fate *would have* been a good place to get back into it if they didn’t take all the wrong direction choices. Portal > Nightfalls was one of many baffling and needless changes.

I swear if they actually killed the Nether I’m gonna lose my mind. The Dreadnaught was the coolest part of my very short Destiny career…don’t get me started on Grandmaster Nightfalls.

Humanity is incredible. The potential of our species is nearly limitless, the only thing holding us back is our own refusal to work together and with our environment.
