US Mobile has announced its 2024 Black Friday offers, headlined by a steep discount on its Unlimited Premium plan. The plan normally costs $32.50/month when purchased annually for $390, but for Black Friday it’s dropping to $167/year, an average of $13.92/month per line, when shoppers use promo code BF67 at checkout. This offer is for new lines of service.

AT&T has launched its first wave of 2025 end-of-year holiday deals, headlined by a price drop for its $50/month ($40 with autopay) 30GB plan which is now available for $25/month. BestMVNO first reported on this plan’s debut in January 2024, when it was criticized for its restrictive data speeds and lack of hotspot access. While the new $25 price point is more reasonable, the plan retains those same limitations.

Tello Mobile has increased the data allotment of its $25/month plan (taxes extra) to 50GB up from 35GB. The hotspot allotment has also been increased from 5GB to 10GB. A higher tier data allotment is something that Tello has been flirting with for awhile. Last December, Tello ran a promotion where it offered a 45GB plan with 10GB of hotspot for $35/month for life.

Wave7 Research recently reported that Boom! Mobile has signed a new 3-year partnership deal with Thrill Sports that's said to be a "multi-million-dollar investment." The deal encompasses Thrill Sports brands Power Slap, Street Leave Skateboarding (SLS), and Nitro Circus U.S. Tour stops. The deal grants Boom! Mobile exclusive rights in the wireless service category for these brands. UFC’s Dana White is an investor in Thrill Sports.

Google Fi has launched a new promotional offer giving new customers $10/month off the Unlimited Premium (reg $65/month) plan for 24 months with the purchase of a Google 10 series Pixel phone. Customers purchasing a phone will instantly receive $350 off the price of the phone plus bill credits for 24 months for up to an additional $450 in savings. Wave7 Research reported the deal in the latest prepaid report the firm sent to its subscribers.

MobileX has announced it will launch "Gold Network" data access options which will become available on October 18th. The service will offer customers priority data access on its network for a small premium over its standard rate plans. Standard custom data plans without priority access will see a small price reduction. The Gold Network will give customers the option to purchase data plans that are prioritized over other traffic on the network.

Verizon has decided to launch its previously digital-only brand, Visible, into physical retail. According to a Verizon press release, starting September 28th, customers will be able to walk into Best Buy and pick up a Visible SIM card directly from store shelves. According to the latest prepaid report from Wave7 Research, Boost Mobile is now selling Spectrum Home Internet in several hundred Boost Mobile stores. Wave7 Research first spotted signage in late August at a California store that read, ‘Ask us about Home Internet.’ The signs promote plans starting at $30/month. Boost Mobile is no stranger to selling home internet plans from other providers.

Verizon Value brand Tracfone has launched its first ever truly unlimited data plan. The new offering includes unlimited talk, text, and data, plus 15GB of hotspot use, international talk and text roaming in Canada and Mexico, and identity theft protection through IDnotify, an Experian company. Notably, the broadband label for this plan shows that it does not include access to Verizon’s fastest 5G Ultra Wideband network.

Verizon announced at the All Wireless and Prepaid Expo, and in a press release, that its Value brands Simple Mobile and Total Wireless have received major plan updates. SurgePays, the parent company behind MVNO LinkUp Mobile and Lifeline provider Torch Wireless, has reported strong subscriber growth following its Q2 2025 earnings release. LinkUp Mobile has now amassed 30,000 subscribers, with activations for the brand more than doubling between April and July. During a conference call, company CEO Brian Cox stated they had 10,000 activations in April 2025, and 20,500 in July 2025.

Rabona Mobile, a brand designed for soccer fans and likely Italian immigrants, has officially launched in the United States using the T-Mobile network. Rabona is both an MVNO and an MVNE, meaning it not only sells wireless service directly to consumers but also enables businesses to launch their own MVNOs through a partner program. Rabona describes itself as a "U.S.-based company with Italian ownership," and with a "strong brand identity rooted in sports and lifestyle." Owners Stefano and Maurizio D’Alessandro bring over 15 years of telecom industry experience and also operate the Rabona MVNO brand in Italy, which was founded in 2008.

Cricket Wireless has released new plan updates today. The biggest changes revolve around hotspot usage. Cricket's flagship $60 plan, now called Supreme Unlimited, saw its hotspot allowance jump from 15GB to 50GB. Cricket's second most expensive plan now includes 15GB of hotspot, whereas it previously offered none. Other updates include pricing changes, some better, some worse, and every plan now has a new name.

US Mobile has rolled out significant upgrades to its Unlimited Premium and Unlimited Starter plans across all three of its network offerings: Warp (Verizon), Light Speed (T-Mobile), and Dark Star (AT&T).
