Lots more photos to edit, but too proud to wait! Jack was awarded his SR black belt today. He’s been at this since 1st G, not always with joy, but didn’t give up. Hard work was rewarded today.
(It was also so sweet for him to see one of his early senseis, Maria. He was so happy she was there!)

After 9 years of marching, kiddo’s band career came to an end today, with a college playoff loss.
I’m so grateful for the communities that found our family & for the confidence, courage & pride the sport offered our, now adult, kid.

After 9 years of marching, kiddo’s band career came to an end today, with a college playoff loss.

Pumpkin (L, name inherited) & Mocha (R, covid pup).THERE WILL BE NO DOG NAMED SPICE. No cute name origin; we lost our 13 y/o Daisy leap day 2020, & when knew we were going to be cooped up with no dog, we adopted Mocha & the kids named her. Pumpkin came 2 yrs later from lousy foster, got her out!
