We were just in the Mariposa Grove the week before Christmas, and the bathrooms were definitely a problem. My three-year-old saw them and yelled, “Nooooo! Scary toilet!” Hard agree from me, LOL.

I just introduced a group of first-year PsyD students to the idea of computational neuroscience last night, and a few were very interested. Nice to have an additional resource at my disposal - thanks!

Isn’t Half Dome the “monte” in Monte Vista Ave? Or is it El Capitan?

As someone who lives in Minneapolis (but grew up in Turlock! Yay!), this is new to me. I don’t think I’ve ever opened my hood to clear snow. Agree with the pre-lift the wipers guy from earlier - that’s the pro move. Bonus points when people take pity on you and do it for you.

As a translational scientist who is generally pulled toward ecological network models of cognition, I’d love to read more consciousness work that considers a network of ecological factors for consciousness, specifically. Do you have recommendations in that regard, Dr. Seth? (or anyone else!)
