I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner and I’m getting a lot of people afraid of Trump’s policies. The worst part is not being able to alleve their fear, bad things ARE happening and to try to minimize that would invalidate their fears.

Trump is dismantling the DOE. They are going to teach all the little kids how to be evangelicals regardless of what the parents want. P25 is all about ensuring right wingers run the country in all the foreseeable future and the only way to do that is force, I guess.

I’m disappointed Trump caved. Now he’s shown all followers this is how you do business to get your way with other countries and I’m disappointed in Trudeau for agreeing to a “fentanyl czar” what a bunch of shit.

The democrats are going to continue to lose as long as they try to play the middle. The country is so polarized there is no “middle”. There are right wing zealots and people who don’t understand why we can’t live like most of the developed world.

I just talked to a Hispanic man who’s afraid for his family, even though he’s he’s legal. I almost told him “just don’t watch the news” He has no choice. He has to stay on top of what’s going on. I’m white, I’m not poor. I’m a woman, but I’m secure. It’s a matter of privilege that I can step away.
