It’s my honor to continue the fight for our trans and nonbinary community members to live free from violence and intimidation.

Now is the time to demand leadership that will fight back against legislation to criminalize and punish trans and nonbinary people. No one’s right to exist and live should ever be a political bargaining chip.

For so many of our trans and nonbinary community members (particularly trans people color) from around the country, Minnesota has become a refuge, but no community member should be a victim of violence to be their truest selves.

Thank you to the organizers who put out the call for rapid response and the community that showed up to remind everyone that we must do better.
