During the pandemic it was just me and the hubs so we got some turkey legs and I decided to braise them nice and slow in the slow cooker. For a little festive kick I made a cranberry sauce to braise them in.

Do not braise turkey in cranberry unless you want sour magenta meat. It was not festive.

Slow cooker mashed potatoes. Throw them in in the morning, mash them when they’re done, and they stay warm and ready, no timing struggles.
