YES! It's right next door to the building I live in. The Original Trader Vic's was Hinky Dinks on San Pablo Avenue in Oakland. They moved to Emeryville, California in early 1970s and that TVs is still in business. Most or all of the franchises are gone. His daughters are still involved.

I just started to become interested in the past 10 or 15 years. It has vastly increased my appreciation of birds and nature in general. It's also a nice way to ignore the rest of the world for at least some time.

Thank you!!!! It did take quite awhile to find it amongst the fairly solid bank of white and gray clouds. It did occasionally peak through so I was delighted to see it and grabbed a couple of shots when it did.

Thanks, Regina. I rarely get morning photos of the moon. It's not that easy to see once the sun comes up and I never really really knew where it was going to be. Last night I discovered looking at one of the moon websites that it tells you where it will be on the compass which helped me find it.

Waning Gibbous Moon this morning appearing in midst of heavy fog/clouds at 7:23 a.m. Moonset is at 9:06 a.m. but it has disappeared behind a solid bank of clouds. 97° illumination. Over Marin County, California, from Emeryville.
