Josh Allen good.

Im going to change the end of that and say: “ I think an expert would support my position”
January 21, 2026 at 9:50 PM
I don’t blame him for every play. I think he’s a good coach. I blame him on two plays where he knew he was exposed, he knew what was coming, and did nothing to counter.

You’re right. I’m not a coach and I’m not gonna look up how to stop it. But I don’t think I need an expert for my position.
January 21, 2026 at 9:45 PM
I don’t know what you do for work, but I don’t need to be a pilot to know that the plane crashed.

McD knew he was exposed, he did nothing, and he got burned. He only needed to make an adjustment for one play.
January 21, 2026 at 9:16 PM
Of course there was an execution error because he’s not good. Everyone knows that.

Even though everyone knew he’d be targeted, he called another routine play and got him exposed.

I’m no coach, but I don’t accept that there wasn’t a better play call to be made knowing that Savage was the target.
January 21, 2026 at 9:09 PM
Are you telling me that there was no call to protect those players for one play? Knowing Payton was going to attack them immediately.

Come on man….
January 21, 2026 at 8:19 PM
Savage and Jackson were on the field for one play each. It’s McD’s job to figure it out.

It’s Beane’s fault that neither Maxwell or Ingram were there, but you can’t absolve McD.
January 21, 2026 at 7:45 PM
None of them had anything to do with coaching? How about leaving Savage and Jackson alone on those two touchdowns? That’s on McD. But as I said before, it doesn’t really matter.
January 21, 2026 at 7:14 PM
Where we are getting hung up is that this isn’t about scapegoating or fairness. GM, coach, and QB are all at fault for the result and blame can’t easily be separated. It’s about what is best for the team going forward.

It’s fair to want to keep McD over Beane. But not because that’s what’s “fair”
January 21, 2026 at 7:14 PM
I don’t think there is any question that Josh blames himself and wants to keep McD.

The question is what is best for the team moving forward. To put Josh in the middle of that is not fair to him.
January 21, 2026 at 6:47 PM
You talked about other teams earlier. They all have holes. The NFL is like whack-a-mole. Players come and go and holes are created and filled. This is especially true when the QB takes up so much resources.

There will never be a time the team doesn’t have holes. The coach needs to overcome them.

Would you like your supervisor’s boss to ask you if he/she should fire your supervisor?

Come on….
January 21, 2026 at 6:08 PM
I agree with what you say about the masses. But that doesn’t mean the substance is wrong.

The JA cycle will end with or without McDermott. We could keep him and just hope he gets over the line, or we could take a risk and try something new. We’ve done the former, it’s ok to try something new.
January 21, 2026 at 5:57 PM
I think this is spot on!
January 21, 2026 at 5:45 PM
Right. It’s an issue of differing expectations. Some people want more than just the playoffs again.

I would have been alright with keeping McDermott another year. But now I think that if it’s going to happen it should be now rather than later. It was not a blunder to let him go, but a close call.
January 21, 2026 at 5:36 PM
Is there any set of circumstances that would have allowed you to move on from McDermott?

If you are worried about Josh leaving, it’s better to move on now while he’s under contract for three more years than to wait.
January 21, 2026 at 5:13 PM
A press conference? Getting rid of a coach half the fan base wanted gone?

Josh Allen is still on the team. Like I said, it might be the beginning of the end, but there is no way to know.

Back then, we knew how things would turn out.
January 21, 2026 at 4:48 PM
Kelly Holcomb? JP Losman? Trent Edwards? Jeff Tuel? EJ Manual? Nathan Peterman?

Just some names from the past.

This might turn out to be the beginning of the end. But it’s still looking better than those days.
January 21, 2026 at 4:33 PM
You haven’t been around long enough then.
January 21, 2026 at 4:25 PM
I would think there is a good chance that we are playing for a Super Bowl birth this week if we didn’t eat $15 million in dead cap from Von Miller this year.

And you think we should trade for AJ Brown? An aging, disgruntled WR?
January 21, 2026 at 1:06 AM
This is a terrible idea. It’s possible Josh could play for another 10 years. Selling out too hard where a full rebuild would be required would cause him to move back to Cali.
January 21, 2026 at 12:26 AM
They could pump out those cuts pretty fast.
January 19, 2026 at 10:42 PM
Is that the only call that’s inconsistent?
January 18, 2026 at 11:57 PM
So then it was the call that were decisive. The refs have to apply the rules evenly and not try to get move the audience to the second game.
January 18, 2026 at 6:04 PM
Don’t blame her. She’s just trying to do her job with an AFC bracket that is now ruined.

As a fan I reserve my right to take my ball and go home. I’m going to catch up on Viewer Discretion.
