The 2025 World Justice Project Rule of Law Index is out. The US has fallen another space, down to 27 (Index score .68). Wait until you see who is ranked above us.

In 2017, Venezuela's Attorney General dismissed by its Assembly, loyal to Pres Nicolas Maduro after an election rife w/ fraud. Maduro installed his own, loyal AG.

US AG Bondi urged DOJ attorneys in Feb 2025 memo to zealously defend Trump's policies & actions.

In Syria's first election 10/5/25 Pres al-Sharaa picked 1/3 of legislature, w/others chosen by subcommittees. No pop vote.

Pres Trump redistricted Texas w/approval of legislators & Gov, no pop vote. Admitted in court 10/4/25 its purpose to gain GOP seats.

In 2013, I taught international law to 60 judges in Yemen, including 2 women. They removed their Nikab while sitting on the bench, saying Yemeni citizens had a right to see their unmasked face.

Contra, anonymous masked ICE agents arrest & assault US citizens.
