Tom was my Congressman before the district was redrawn to add more republicans. He is smart and while in Congress, worked toward bipartisan solutions to our common problems. It would be great to get him back in the Congress on behalf of NJ.

Bannon can state that Trump is acting as a vehicle of divine providence, but recall this is the man who advocates “flooding the zone with [excrement]” so I am, shall we say, skeptical, of his pronouncements on spiritual matters.

Mamdani has handled the verbal jabs with equanimity. This reminds me of the Kennedy-Nixon debate in the sense that Mamdani appears energetic and youthful; Cuomo and Sliwa do not express the same energy and appear old and rigid by contrast.

Every time a Miller statement was challenged, he responded, not with a coherent -answer, but by raising his voice a decibel or two, talking faster, and becoming more infuriated. He’s not a serious, knowledgeable government employee- he’s a performative rage actor.

I am not a devout Catholic, but come from a religious family and have had 16 years of Catholic school education. Vance’s form of Catholicism is foreign to me. We were taught to live a life of service, rather than to hate others and take away their health benefits!
