I made the mistake of reading the NoA (did you see the contact? Sigh). Insane that the outcome being studied, as stated in the NoA, is early infant mortality and “long term developmental outcomes.” Like what.

There is a reason those of us in public health — before this admin — used to have annual seminars about the Tuskegee study and other failures of the scientific community to properly protect vulnerable groups … this will go down as yet another failure.

Unless you are actually talking to one of us on record who was here in 2024, it’s not, “CDC says …”

Turbo cancer, eh? So I assume IARC is fast at work on that monograph right this very second

Or … what better way to get into the holiday season than a BG3 playthrough as the Dark Urge?

Can you tell I’m already planning my gaming time for my very limited PTO

By super mid I mean it was solid, just not like, Witcher 3.
December 16, 2025 at 8:53 PM
There was another super mid RPG that came out right before that might be good to binge, I still haven’t picked it up because I still have Oblivion remastered to work through.

It is also probably so up there on the feels for me that I would say it’s worth to play together. Couldn’t get my partner to join in, but he watched me play the entire thing for hours. Including my one three hour long boss fight (that was 3 hours because I’m dumb and stubborn).

Horrible. I hope he finds out a Syrian Australian is the one who intervened, and I hope he has bad constipation for the rest of his days from having his head so far up his own ass.

Like any time Tim Miller has anyone from the Atlantic on it’s an automatic skip for me.
December 13, 2025 at 6:14 AM
I swear the Atlantic just publishes this kind of insidious, rage-bait drivel just to drive engagement from progressives, because they can’t get anyone to pay attention to them otherwise outside of being accidentally included in Signal chats.
December 13, 2025 at 6:13 AM
Saw Sabrina Carpenter do it, so it can be done, and you don’t even have to be a hardcore progressive. Imagine that.
