Theatre CAN help and SHOULD help...but if it doesn't put "butts in the seats" and keep the lights on, it doesn't seem like the help is WANTED.

But how did he know they were finished?? Did someone tell him, or did he decide? Were his plays workshopped before publication, or published and then produced? I think I need a beer! Merry Christmas! :)

I live in a remote community in Canada, not close to theatre (sadly). However I saw a monologue from the play People, Places and Things by Duncan McMillan on Facebook that I found captivating. I loved the subject matter, and I thought the writing was honest. I bought the play it sounded so good.
