I keep cycling through these same thoughts. I've decided it's both. We can hope their schemes to do cataclysmic harm will be as stupid and incompetently done as every other malicious thing they do.

There are still WAY too many of them in Austin.🫩

Whether you see these nine arrests as civil disobedience or civil devotion, one thing is undeniable: faith leaders are reminding us that politics may be the art of the possible, but justice is the art of the unignorable.

Republicans have been able to evade the public moral shame of enabling Donald Trump for far too long. Some of us who've been starved for justice feel a bit more nourished by this.🙏🕊️

That population must continue *choosing* to be in the dark. With clergy, sports teams and their coaches, and other esteemed populations openly rejecting MAGA's cruelty and abuse, at least a few of those might begin to peel away.
