Trump is a useful idiot. Vance is the one to watch. He is the protege of Peter Theil who is an ideologue. He doesn’t believe democracy works. Like musk he believes in a superior human who should be free to do whatever he wants. They’ve made alliances with religious right.

They pose as libertarians but that would give up too much control and create factions. I believe their real goal is a Theocracy

I find it hard to believe they didn’t see it coming. I wrote my Masters thesis in 1995 on the Religious Right as a PAC. It was clear then the goals of The Federalist Society and The Heritage Foundation. Several SC judges have direct ties to these organizations and were developed by them.
