My February SW reads. I had to simmer in my thoughts a little longer for these two. As a general reader, I felt they were beautifully written and vastly imaginative. As a former SWer, I *mostly* enjoyed them. The SWer MCs were resilient, resourceful, and multi-faceted.

I’m noticing a trend in literature (and society in general) that it’s unfathomable to accept that sex workers have agency. SF/F writers could take a cue from Pretty Woman (but take every other scene with a grain of salt).

Been obsessively listening to Jessie Sage’s podcast When We’re Not Hustling and the episode with Hunny Daniels has got my brain brewing a short story of a Shibari cam model duo, dystopian censorship of sexuality, and maybe a whole lot of grief. nothustling.com/episode/s1-e...

It’s me, I’m the friend.
Asking for a friend (seriously!): what are some examples of sex worker representation in sf/f (literature especially)?
