"Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
Dylan Thomas.
Self-criticism is probably the biggest problem any of us have. The "I won't put it out there because I think it's rubbish" feeling.
But, you're right - what matters is never giving up...

It's unusual for anything to be completely satisfactory on the first draft 😕

Thanks!
Progress is slow...

Thanks, Aine 🙂
I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing or how it will work out...

We had unexpected visitors yesterday, so I never replied 😕
Sadly, the sunshine didn't last long, and normal service - rain - has resumed.
Good to know you're keeping warm!

Love this!

Hello Susan, I hope you're well and surviving the cold weather!
We're having a dry day here for a change - there's even been some sunshine 🌞
No review for #BlueBrewBooks this week but I have chosen my next read - more Irish fiction, "the spinning heart" by Donal Ryan.

Hope you have a great weekend too!!

It definitely was outstanding bravery, so he fully deserves an award.
I saw his interview last night - his only thoughts were for his mum and siblings.

I think he got one up on her because he was rightly hailed as a hero and had his best day ever at school.

Apparently his mum is Irish.
We're a hardy lot - no reason why he couldn't go to school 😀

Hi Susan!
For #BlueBrewBooks I'm rereading books I bought years ago. I've just finished this one - "Cocaine Nights" by J G Ballard.
Set in the expat communities of Southern Spain, it begins promisingly but, for me, it became more farcical as it came closer to it's abrupt and too predictable end.
