Here's a picture from my first match at SJP, the crowd celebrating after a 2-0 win against Bolton Wanderers to clinch the second division title and promotion.
April 16th 1965. Almost 60,000 there including me, my dad and brother in the Strawberry corner.

I have been a lifelong Labour supporter. I first voted in 1970.
Now the Labour leadership are no better than the Cons or Reform.
They will never get my vote again. I've joined the Green Party. Zach speaks for me and brings hope for a better future.

On this day (10th May) in 1967 I saw Jackie Milburn play !
It was his belated Testimonial match at SJP. I don't remember much except for Ferenc Puskas kicking the ball away from himself with enough backspin that it bounced back to him. #NUFC

By 1976 I had moved to London for my first proper job and was living and working not far from Wembley. On the 28th of Feb 1976 my Dad and my brother drove down from Newcastle to meet me and off we went to Wembley Stadium for the League Cup Final. My first ever match at Wembley. #NUFC
