I was just reading an article in the Sept issue of Catalyst from @ucs.org about their efforts to address the dismantling of various, critical federal science advisory panels, and I was reminded of my favorite poster from a 2018 science rally in Boston, which seems about right!

It’s been a tough year for democracy and our heirloom tomatoes. In terms of the latter, turkeys (and maybe rats😳) have done a lot of damage. Here’s my first one taken before we lost it!
