Probably varies from publisher to publisher, I’d imagine! Also depends on if they already have a marketing plan for it/how hands-on they are with promo.

If it’s one or two lines, I can’t imagine a publisher would be too concerned. Unless you’re super short form or a poet, I suppose 😊

I think it’s fun! I’m a huge fan of radical transparency into the writing process though, so that could be influencing my thoughts on this.
