That what you do to the least of these, you have done to me. In context, Paul is addressing those who aren’t working in anticipation of the second coming. Christ teaches to help everyone in need, no matter what. In my mind that is a massive difference that is hard to justify.

Therefore, a cult.

I am not trying to argue with you. I am of the belief that if you rely more on the teachings of Paul than the teachings of Christ, you are doing it wrong.

For example, out of context, Paul teaches that if you don’t work, you shouldn’t be helped (obvious paraphrasing on my part). Christ teaches

Real Christians follow the teachings of Christ. Athey (along with 95% of mega-churches) is a cult that has bastardized the Bible for their own gain and profit.
