I only use ai to find information on games I'm currently playing. The one in bing seems to actually understand what I'm saying and it's the first text to speech that works reliably for me but I'll never use it for anything more serious than that.

An uncompressed sound will have a high dynamic range i.e. a kick drum will have a very loud beginning but fade out fast, if we want to hear more of the tail (which carries a lot of bass) we compress the sound to bring up the tail, or make it "visible" in the mix
