Which tool are you using to download from iCloud and save it in your NAS + keeping it in sync?

No problem, I share your frustration, I’m not saying it won’t happen, but I see many challenges in-between, meanwhile for a native experience I don’t have how not to recommend Apple Home, is until this day the platform I most like to use (when I don’t need anything custom, like a wall tablet dash)

Unfortunately not in the near future, there are some debates around native UI in Home Assistant but for now the agreement is that it won’t happen unfortunately :/

You know one that surprised me a lot? The mmWave sensor from SwitchBot (32€), I’m using it in my bathroom and it never failed, usually with other sensors they fail to detect me in the shower and turn off the light 😂. Buuuuut… it’s Bluetooth

The IKEA one is also quite good, I just replaced one Eve plug by the IKEA and works perfectly for 1/4 of the price
