I've posted this elsewhere but I'm finishing out the year as a player in Roller Derby in addition to my usual referee position. Playing a contact sport in your 40's is some wild shit.

I've been sharing this gif all day of me tripping myself after getting lead in the Roller Derby home team scrimmage I played in this weekend. Apparently in this sport you just haze yourself.
A roller skater in a blue shirt and a star cover on their helmet attempting to do a crossover around a turn when they trip themselves and slide along the polished gym floor. The skater then gets up as quick as they fell and runs out of frame on their toes tops
