Excited to share our recent submission on the first 3D S-wave tomography beneath the offshore Sanriku region, Japan, using ocean-bottom DAS data. This study achieves high-resolution imaging of the overlying plate and highlights the power of DAS for efficient, high-resolution offshore seismology.

Excited to share that our new study introduces a Renormalization Group (RG)-based framework for upscaling the elastic wave equation. This approach efficiently captures the effects of fine-scale heterogeneity by deriving coarse-scale elastic properties that preserve key wavefield characteristics.
