Theological discussions are useful & important. But it's essential to remember that there is a Christian life to live beyond theological arguments.

I was blessed to be brought up in a lay community which didn’t follow ECT. As an outsider it’s sad to see the harm done to the broader Jesus community in terms of fear, ridicule, and somehow making Jesus a thing that people have to recover from.
Fun fact: the idea of hell, defined as eternal conscious torment, was invented by humans as a power play. You don’t have to believe in it, even if you’re an orthodox Christian.
