I have a BUNCH of whistles, and will be printing Red Cards when y paper arrives today. If anyone would like either of these to hand out to neighbors, let me know!

I am concentrating on Spanish Red Cards right now, please let me know if you are in need of a different language.

Ingersoll’s calls for violence are in line with the official Republican position. John Gillette, a Republican state representative for Arizona, called for Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) to be hanged on his X account. Two Kansas Republicans alluded to — “joked” — about shooting a former Democratic colleague on the floor of the Kansas House. Louisiana Republican Clay Higgins threatened to jail the mayor of Denver, while Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna threatened to refer him for criminal charges. Arizona Republican Paul Gosar shared an anime video depicting him killing Ocasio-Cortez and attacking then-President Joe Biden.

Denaturalization is another favorite Republican threat. Republican Andy Ogles of Tennessee said that New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani should be stripped of his citizenship and deported; Ogles later demanded the same for Rep. Delia Ramirez of Illinois. Texas Republican Brandon Gill, Georgia Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, and South Carolina Republican Nancy Mace have called for Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, a naturalized US citizen, to be deported.

Y'all who keep lecturing protesters to "not give them an excuse" need to pause for a minute. Imagine yourself telling a DV victim, "Be sure not to mouth off or make any mistakes so he won't hit you. Don't give him an excuse! It's what he wants!" That's what you fools sound like.

…"Veterans Services has been contacted by a growing number of Illinois National Guard soldiers who have received activation orders to deploy to Chicago for up to 60 days. Many students were notified with little advance warning and may not have time to contact their instructors directly. Our office has been reaching out on their behalf to ensure faculty are informed.

You may receive questions regarding how to handle coursework or attendance for these students. Per Illinois law, students cannot be penalized for absences, missed exams, or incomplete assignments that result from military activation. Faculty are required to provide reasonable accommodations that allow students to complete missed work. Examples may include issuing an incomplete contract, extending deadlines, or allowing coursework to be completed online. The method of accommodation is at the instructor's discretion, based on the structure of the course. Students may also choose to withdraw from classes if necessary, in which case our office will process a DA. At this time, all activated students intend to remain enrolled, though this may change [end of screenshot]

Know your strengths, and use those strengths to help as you can.

Years helping fold zines and stuff records and CDs for friend’s bands prepared me for this moment.

Why would I be a liability on the streets? i am slow AF, and would also likely have a panic attack due to violence and cops.

Found my laminator to make red cards, found a PERFECT 3d printable whistle that is tiny and LOUD, found my punch to round the corners of the red cards.

Still printing whistle zines, will also print more “how to report 🧊” zines.

I’d be a huge liability on the streets but THIS I can do.
