I seem to remember this was one of those cuts that benefited Elon Musk directly because USAID was investigating one of his businesses. It may have been the Starlink terminals in Ukraine investigation or something else.

So corrupt as well as heartless.

You still aren't getting it. It's not that the politician deserves your vote. It's the people that politician would protect that the other side will attack that deserve your vote.

Brown and Black people, gay people, trans people, poor people, and all marginalized people deserve to be protected.

It's not so much that your vote isn't needed, it's that it isn't gettable. You've seen what's happening in the country today and decided you're going to continue voting for people that don't have any chance in hell of winning because you can't bring yourself to vote for someone less than perfect.
