The Teapot Dome scandal was about corruption, graft, and buying one's way to power. Watergate was about Nixon's paranoia, lying, and thinking he was above the law. We now have all those things, plus a few more. The difference now is Congress and SCOTUS being complicit with all of this slime.

Turns out, the little sh*t isn't even American - although he was complaining about legal immigrants taking American jobs. He's a Brit!

Hakeem Jeffries is such a weak assh*le! Speaking of "reasonable" Republicans as if that's a Thing. Maybe we can "reason" with this alligator. Let's tell him how we want him to behave. *sheesh*

I'm not letting them off the hook; they are certainly to blame. But I expected them to behave in this cowardly fashion; witness the Democrats caving to Republicans - again! And we knew the Republicans would be slimy cowards. But who expected John Roberts to support totalitarianism?

I've never understood stilts. How do they get on and off?

The difference to me seems to be the SCOTUS's complete abdication of responsibility and refusal to fulfill their oath to support the Constitution. I expected nothing but cowardice from congress, but I had expected probity from Roberts, at least. I'm quite shocked at his supporting totalitarianism.
