I agree and that is why is our duty to be sure our customers leave with all the things to keep them safe. We sell bells, lights and helmets. In the end not everyone can afford the extras sadly,and just need a bike to get around on. So keeping the cost to consumer lower means an avenue of transport.

Ya, like if you buy a car, it’s not gonna one with extras. For instance, a roof rack or a tow hook or floor mats etc etc.

Awesome and good on you. We get lots of e-bikes in need of repair that aren’t always easily serviceable. Consumables are never a problem though.

At least we have a few plastic posts and a painted lane. But a cement barrier to separate the lanes and low enough for emergency vehicles would be good.

It's a problem and I don't have the answer for the it. We work on all types of e-bikes daily at our shop. Most of them are in bad shape and come with shitty (mechanical) brakes. I like to say, "if it's got go, it better have slow." A good set of hydraulic brakes is a great way to slow a heavy bike.
